Dental Insurance and Payment Options

We can help you navigate the cost of care with options for treatment plans and payment plans that work for you. During the initial consultation visit, we will discuss our upfront, transparent pricing and explain the variety of different payment options available.

Below you will find a list of payment options that we accept. If you don’t see your preferred method on our list, please call our office at Port Angeles Office Phone Number (360) 477-4768 to find out what other options may be available to you.

Medical spending accounts

Dentistry treatment plans (including dentures) are covered by Medical Spending Accounts  such as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). These medical spending accounts allow you to cover your dentistry treatment costs using pre-tax income which has been set aside for medical expenses. These plans can save you money by lowering your taxes.

  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA), also called Flexible Spending Arrangements If you have a health plan through a job that includes a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you can use this to pay for your care costs. To do this, Coastal Denture Clinic will provide you with documentation and then you submit a claim to the FSA (through your employer). This claim will include proof of the medical expense (provided by us) and a statement that the expense hasn’t been covered by your insurance plan (provided by your insurance plan). Then, you’ll get reimbursed for your costs. Ask your employer for details about how to use your specific FSA. To learn more about what an FSA is and how it works, you can talk with your employer or visit: https://www.healthcare.gov/have-job-based-coverage/flexible-spending-accounts/
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) Dental treatment plans such as dentures are a qualified medical expense that may be paid for using a Health Savings Account. If you have a High Deductible Health Plan with a HSA, you may use this to cover the costs of your treatment using your HSA Debit Card. Low Monthly Payment plan

We are committed to helping patients afford the best care by offering zero-interest, low payment, monthly dentistry financing plans that spread the cost of treatment over time.

  • CareCredit: Designed specifically for healthcare related expenses such as dentistry, CareCredit offers financing plans that feature no interest and low monthly payments. There are no annual fees, no setup costs, and no prepayment penalties. Apply online. Plans can be spread over a variety of time periods — anywhere from 3 to 60 months. CareCredit can be used to help cover any health care-related expense: from $1 to $25,000.

DENTAL INSURANCE

We understand how complicated dental insurance can be, and we make every effort to help our patients through the process. If you have dental insurance, we will gladly provide you with the documentation needed to submit your claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.

At Coastal Denture Clinic, your care comes first. We maintain the highest standard for quality care and we take pride in offering upfront, transparent, and easy to understand pricing. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the dental insurance industry! Each insurance company and policy has its own coverage amounts and limits, fee schedule, and yearly cap on what they will pay. Furthermore, dental insurance policy restrictions and allowances are not based on what services are clinically necessary for the patient. Frustratingly, this means that there is no way for us to guarantee what benefits your insurance company pays or how they handle claims.

The good news is that, because your dental insurance policy is a contract between the insurance company and you (the policy holder), there is an incentive for the insurance company to work directly with you. This often results in better outcomes for claims filed by patients rather than by providers. While our commitment to quality care for our patients well-being means that we have chosen not to be contracted with any insurance company, we are ready to assist you in navigating the process by promptly providing any information needed to file your insurance claim.
